A very interesting old document tht has come to light is that reproduced on the left, exactly 60 years after its original publication. Robert de Cesare, the composer, was also editor of the Italian publication in Malta, Risorgimento. He ws the father of the late Mr P. P. de Cesare, whose son Robert took up his grandfather's journalistic profession. Lord Baden-Powell, in honour of whom the "valse" was composed, was to lay the foundations, six years later of the Boy Scout Movement. [Sunday Times of Malta - January 22, 1961]
