The Knights of Columbus, Ontario Council, in co-operation with the Schools under the umbrella of the various councils, promote drug and alcohol awareness by running a poster contest. The posters are judged at the council level, and the winning posters are then sent on to the Zone for judging. Finally the Zone winners are sent to the Ontario Council for vinal judging.

Presentation of a medal was made to Paige Powless of St Ursula School - her entry was the top winner in her division in the Drug Awareness and Abuse conest.
