Friendship is God's most Precious Gift
For One's Friends
Lord Jesus,
It's wonderful to have friends.
But friendship is not always easy:
our friends have faults and so do we.
Sometimes we get into an argument and become angry.
Help me to be patient and generous withmy friends.
Help me to understand & to encouragethem.
Give me the courage to be quicklyreconciled to them after an argument.
Lord Jesus, I am praying to you for myfriends and for myself.
Help us to follow your caring waysduring our lives. Amen

MARY BELIEVED GOD'S PROMISE THAT SHE WOULD CONCEIVE AND GIVE BIRTH TO HIS SON. SHE BELIEVED AND HOPED IN HIS PROMISE AND IS OUR MODEL OF FAITH AND HOPE.
SHE NOW REIGNS IN HEAVEN AS QUEEN AND MOTHER OF US ALL, READY TO HELP US IN OUR NEEDS.

PRAYER ...
Hail Holy Queen
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, Our Life, our Sweetness and our Hope; To Thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve, To Thee do we send up our cries, mournings, and weepings in this valley of tears. Turn then most Gracious Advocate, Thine eyes of mercy towards us, And after this, our exile, Show unto us. The Blessed Fruit of Thy womb: JESUS. O Clement, 0 Loving, 0 Sweet Virgin Mary ...
Pray for us 0 Holy Mother of God,
That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ

Raphael, an Archangel, is mentioned in the bible
story of Tobit: a man who went blind and was
cured through the help of St. Raphael.
Before going back to Heaven, Archangel
Raphael gave this advice:
Bless God and praise Him for all the favours He
has given you. Never tire of giving Him thanks:
Do what is good and no evil can befall you. Those
who commit sin and do evil bring harm on themselves. Do not be afraid.
Bless God froever.
From Tobit 12(6-17)

Prayer
Angels of God, all you mighty spirits of wisdom
and truth, energize my mind that I may
comprehend God's loving plan for me.
Angels of God, all you gracious spirits of peace
and joy, enlighten my thinking that I may accept
the gifts of God for me each day.
Angels of God, all you powerful protectors of
God's holy will, guide my decisions that I may
enter into the awareness of your loving presence,
now and forever. Amen.
From the book "Angel Power" by Janice Connell
"I am Raphael, one of the seven angels who stand ever ready to enter the presence of the glory of the Lord"
Tobit 12[15]

If I can stop one heart from breaking I shall not live in vain. If I can ease one life the aching or cool one pain or help one fainting robin into his nest again, I shall not live in vain. [Emily Dixon]
Dear Friends, let us practice loving each other, for love comes from God and those who are loving and kind show that they are the children of God, and that they are getting to know Him better. But if a person isn't loving and kind, it shows that he doesn't know God, -- for God is love. 1 John 5(7,8)

Think about the loving kindness of the Lord. Psalm 107(43)
From - "Words To Love By" (Mother Teresa)

At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received how much money we have made how many great things we have done.
We will be judged by
"I was hungry and you gave me to eat I was naked and you clothed me I was homeless and you took me in."
Hungry not only for bread - but hungry for love
Naked not only for clothing - but naked of human dignity and respect
Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks - but homeless because of rejection.
This is Christ in His distressing disguise.

JESUS ENDURED SUFFERING AND DEATH TO FREE US FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR SINS AND LET IT BE POSSIBLE TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN ... WHEN WE ARE SORRY FOR OUR SINS AND CONFESS THEM, WE RECEIVE FORGIVENESS BECAUSE OF HIS LOVING SACRIFICE FOR US. AFTER CONFESSION WE SAY AN ACT OF CONTRITION ...

An Act of Contritition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You. I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell. But most of all because they offend You, my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasions of sin. Amen.

WORDS OF MOTHER TERESA
Really, God is very much in love with us. For example, we go to confession full of sin and come out without sin. How could there be greater love?
This is something the human mind cannot understand.
That is why Jesus continually says,
"Love as I have loved you."
We must be able to forgive like that.
"Having twisted some thorns into a crown, they put this on his head and placed a reed in his right hand ... they made fun of him and they spit on him ... and hit him on the head"
Matt 27[29-31]

"Now a great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon beneath her feet and on her head a crown of twelve stars"
Revelations 12[1,2]
MARY IS AN EASTER PERSON.
SHE SUFFERED WITH JESUS DURING HIS PASSION AND SHE REJOICED WITH HIM WHEN HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD. SHE NOW LIVES IN THE JOY OF HEAVEN AND CAN INTERCEDE FOR US, BRINGING OUR PRAYERS AND NEEDS TO JESUS. SHE CAN TEACH US HOW TO BE EASTER PERSONS,
SHE CAN TEACH US HOW TO BE SAINTS.

THE MAGNIFICAT
(MARY'S SONG OF PRAISE)
My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior;
Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid;
for, behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed;
Because He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name;
And His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him.
He has shown might with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart.
He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.

MARY, CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN,PRAY FOR US WHO HAVE RECOURSE TO THEE

GOD GIVES US HIS BLESSING AND ASKS US TO GO OUT INTO THE WORLD AND BE HIS WITNESSES.
YOU MIGHT WONDER, "WHAT AM I TO DO?" ASK YOURSELF... "WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?" What Would Jesus Do?

Lord, throughout this day, as I try to follow you, Let this be my rule to live by:
What would Jesus do?
When a friend or loved one asks me for a moment or two,
May I think of one thing only:
What would Jesus do?
In all my dealings help me, to be honest, fair and true,
To measure each decision by:
What would Jesus do?
When I'm feeling troubled, and I turn in prayer to You,
Give me wisdom to decide;
What would Jesus do?
Then when the day is ended, may I resolve anew, To guide tomorrow by the motto:
What would Jesus do?
Jesus said, "You didn't choose me. I chose you! Live within my love and you will have joy. I demand that you love each other as much as I love you [from John 16 (9-12)]
